Brand Rise is an AI-powered marketing automation platform that learns each brand's voice and audience, then plans, generates, schedules, and publishes content across email, social, blogs, and landing pages — with built-in lead discovery, brand learning, and performance analytics. --- # Getting Started ## What Are Brands? **URL:** https://brandriseapp.com/faq/what-are-brands **Category:** Getting Started **Tags:** brands, getting started, dashboard, business, product Understand what a "brand" means in Brand Rise and the types of businesses you can manage. ### What Is a Brand? A **brand** in Brand Rise represents any business, product, or service you want to market. Each brand gets its own voice profile, audience targeting, campaigns, and content pipeline — completely independent from your other brands. ### Examples A brand can be just about anything: • A **local coffee shop** looking to grow its social media presence • A **lawn care service** that wants to generate leads in its area • A **SaaS product** running email drip campaigns to trial users • A **hat company** selling online and at pop-up markets • A **real estate agent** building authority through LinkedIn posts • A **nonprofit** raising awareness for a cause • A **restaurant**, **gym**, **consulting firm**, **e-commerce store** — you name it ### One Dashboard, Many Brands You can manage multiple brands from a single account. Each brand has its own connected platforms, campaigns, leads, and performance metrics. Switch between them from this dashboard. > 💡 **Tip:** Start with one brand and add more as your business grows. Your plan determines how many brands you can manage simultaneously. ### Brand Status Levels Each brand shows a **status badge** on your dashboard that updates automatically based on your progress: ### How to Progress The typical path is: **Setup Required** → Define audiences → **Getting Started** → Activate a campaign → **Active** → Content gets published → **Running Smoothly** If you pause all campaigns after content has been published, your status will show **Paused**. If your campaigns are still active but every publishing platform is disconnected, you'll see **Paused (no platforms)** — an implicit pause that needs at least one platform reconnected. > 💡 **Tip:** Your status updates automatically — there's nothing you need to do manually. Just follow the next step suggested by your current status! --- ## What to Expect from Brand Rise **URL:** https://brandriseapp.com/faq/what-to-expect **Category:** Getting Started **Tags:** expectations, limitations, ai, getting started, overview, honest, brand rise An honest overview of what Brand Rise can and cannot do for your business. ### Overview Brand Rise is powerful but it's not magic. Here's an honest breakdown of what it can and cannot do so you have realistic expectations. ### What AI Can Do • Generate high-quality written content (posts, emails, campaigns) tailored to your voice and audience. • Create branded images and HD videos for social media posts. • Find and enrich leads that match your ideal customer profile. • Schedule and send outreach across multiple channels. • Track performance and optimize over time. • Save you 10-20+ hours per week on marketing tasks. ### What AI Cannot Do • Guarantee specific engagement numbers or conversion rates. • Replace human judgment — you stay in control with approval workflows. • Perfectly match your voice from day one — it learns and improves over time. • Post to platforms without connected accounts. ### Timeline to Results **Week 1-2**: Setup and initial content generation. Content may feel generic. **Week 3-4**: AI starts learning your patterns. Content improves. **Month 2-3**: Active optimization kicks in. Measurable improvement in engagement. **Month 3+**: Fully optimized. Predictive recommendations and autonomous improvements. > 💡 **Tip:** The most successful users provide regular feedback on generated content. The more feedback you give, the faster the AI learns your preferences. --- ## Brand Role Management **URL:** https://brandriseapp.com/faq/brand-role-management **Category:** Getting Started **Tags:** roles, permissions, owner, admin, editor, viewer, access, team Learn about the four brand roles (Owner, Admin, Editor, Viewer) and how to assign permissions to team members. ### Overview Every brand supports four permission levels that control what each team member can do. Roles are assigned per brand, so the same person can be an Admin on one brand and a Viewer on another. ### Role Definitions **Owner** — Full access. Can delete the brand, transfer ownership, and manage all settings. **Admin** — Can manage brand settings, email credentials, domain verification, and assign roles to other members. **Editor** — Can generate content (AI), manage leads and audiences, execute campaigns, enroll leads, and edit/approve/schedule content. **Viewer** — Read-only access to dashboards, analytics, content queues, and campaign data. Cannot make changes. ### What Each Role Can Do ### How to Assign Roles Go to **Team Settings → Brand Role Management**. Expand a brand, then click "Assign" to add a team member with a specific role. You can also change or remove existing role assignments. ### Subscription Tier Requirements Role management is gated by your subscription plan: - **Starter (Basic)**: No per-brand role management. All team members share the same access level. - **Growth (Standard)**: Can assign **Editor** and **Viewer** roles per brand. - **Scale (Advanced)**: Full role management including **Owner** and **Admin** assignments. ### Team-Level Fallback > 💡 **Tip:** If a member has no brand-specific role (`user_roles` row), their access is determined by their **team** role (`team_members.team_role`). Team Owners and Admins get **Admin**-level access on brands in that workspace. Regular team **Members** get **Editor**-level access (same capabilities as an assigned Editor: content, campaigns, leads—not read-only Viewer). --- ## Team Invites & Members **URL:** https://brandriseapp.com/faq/team-invites-and-members **Category:** Getting Started **Tags:** team, invite, members, collaboration, workspace, email Invite people to your team, roles at team vs brand level, and accepting invitations. ### Teams and workspaces A **team** shares one subscription and pooled usage across all brands. You can have a personal workspace or a shared team. Team **Owners** and **Admins** manage membership; members see brands according to team and brand-level permissions. ### Inviting someone 1. Go to **Team Settings**. 2. Open the invite flow and enter their email. 3. Choose their **team role** (e.g. member). 4. They receive an email with a link to accept. If email delivery fails, the invite may still be created — resend or share the link from the pending invites list if your workflow allows. ### Accepting an invite Invited users sign in or create an account with the **same email** the invite was sent to, then complete the acceptance flow. After joining, they appear in the member list and can access brands allowed for their role. ### Brand roles vs team roles Team role controls baseline access; **per-brand roles** (Owner, Admin, Editor, Viewer) further restrict what someone can do on each brand. See **Brand Role Management** in this help center for the permission matrix and plan requirements. > 💡 **Tip:** Seat limits depend on your subscription tier. If you cannot invite more people, upgrade your plan or remove inactive members. --- ## Refer & Earn **URL:** https://brandriseapp.com/faq/refer-and-earn **Category:** Getting Started **Tags:** referral, invite, link, credits, share Share your referral link and track signups and subscriptions from your invites. ### How it works You get a personal **referral link** on the **Refer** page. When someone signs up using that link, the referral is recorded on your account. Your dashboard shows how many people signed up and how many subscribed. ### Sharing the link Copy the link and send it by email, social, or chat. Anyone who creates an account through your URL counts toward your referral stats. ### Send Invite You can also use **Send Invite** from the Refer page to reach people directly. Invites are separate from **team invites** (which add people to your workspace) — referrals are for bringing new teams and users to Brand Rise. > 💡 **Tip:** Referral rewards or credit amounts, if offered, are defined by current program rules shown in the product or promotional copy. --- ## Deleting a brand & associated data **URL:** https://brandriseapp.com/faq/deleting-brands-and-data **Category:** Getting Started **Tags:** delete, brand, remove, owner, data, gdpr What happens when you delete a brand, who can do it, and what is removed. ### Who can delete Only the **brand Owner** (or equivalent highest role) can permanently delete a brand. Admins and editors cannot remove the brand workspace itself. ### Where to delete From **Brand Settings** (danger zone / delete section) or from the brand card menu on the dashboard — confirm with the exact brand name when prompted. ### What is removed Deleting a brand removes its campaigns, audiences, customer types, voice profile, leads tied to that brand, content queue entries, connected platform credentials for that brand, and related settings. This **cannot be undone**. > 💡 **Tip:** Team subscriptions and other brands on the same team are unaffected. For deleting your **user account** or exporting personal data, use **Account Settings** and **Account & Security**. --- # Strategy & audience ## How Voice Capture Works **URL:** https://brandriseapp.com/faq/how-voice-capture-works **Category:** Strategy & audience **Tags:** voice, tone, writing style, brand voice, ai, content, personality Learn how Brand Rise captures your unique writing style so AI-generated content sounds like you. ### Overview Voice Capture analyzes how you naturally communicate so that all AI-generated content — social posts, emails, campaigns — sounds authentically like you, not like a generic AI. ### How It Works You choose one of four voice modes: • **Use My Voice**: Answer 3 open-ended questions about your brand and beliefs. The AI analyzes your word choice, sentence structure, and personality to build a voice profile. • **Professional Brand**: A polished, corporate-friendly default tone. • **Custom Instructions**: Provide your own guidelines (e.g., "casual and witty, use humor"). • **AI Default**: Let the AI choose the best approach based on your brand. ### What Happens After Once saved, your voice profile is used across all content generation — social posts, email campaigns, and marketing copy. The AI references your profile every time it writes. > 💡 **Tip:** The more naturally you write your responses, the better the AI can capture your authentic voice. Don't try to be formal if that's not how you normally communicate. --- ## Voice Style Options & Creativity Slider **URL:** https://brandriseapp.com/faq/voice-style-options-explained **Category:** Strategy & audience **Tags:** voice, style, creativity, slider, fluffometer, tone, factual, creative Understand the four voice style options and how the Factual vs Creative slider shapes your AI content. ### Voice Style Options Choose how the AI captures and replicates your brand voice: • **Use My Voice** — Answer 3 open-ended questions so the AI can learn your natural writing style, word choices, and personality. Best for founders and creators who want content that sounds like *them*. • **Professional Brand** — A polished, corporate-friendly default. Great for B2B brands, consultancies, or anyone who wants a buttoned-up tone without customization. • **Custom Instructions** — Write your own rules. Tell the AI exactly how to sound (e.g., "witty and casual, never use jargon, always include a CTA"). Maximum control. • **AI Default** — Let the AI decide the best approach based on your brand details. Good for getting started quickly. ### Factual vs Creative Slider This slider controls how much creative liberty the AI takes when generating content. • **Stick to facts (0–20)** — The AI only uses verified information. No invented names, fictional stories, or hypothetical scenarios. Best for regulated industries or technical brands. • **A little cushion (21–40)** — Mostly factual with light creative phrasing. The AI may rephrase things for readability but won't fabricate. • **Nice and fluffy (41–60)** — Balanced. The AI can use illustrative examples and light storytelling while staying grounded. • **Cloud nine (61–80)** — The AI uses creative storytelling, metaphors, and engaging narratives. Some details may be illustrative rather than literal. • **Pure cotton candy (81–100)** — Full creative freedom. The AI will craft compelling stories, use vivid language, and prioritize engagement over strict accuracy. > 💡 **Tip:** Your voice style and creativity level work together. "Use My Voice" with a low creativity setting produces authentic, fact-based content in your style. The same voice with high creativity enables the AI to tell stories and paint pictures — still in your voice, but with more flair. --- ## How Customer Type Discovery Works **URL:** https://brandriseapp.com/faq/how-customer-discovery-works **Category:** Strategy & audience **Tags:** customer types, segments, discovery, ai, ideal customer, icp, persona Understand how AI identifies your ideal customer segments based on your brand. ### Overview Customer Type Discovery uses AI to analyze your brand description, features, and value proposition to identify distinct types of customers who would benefit from your brand. ### How It Works 1. The AI reads your brand details (name, description, URL, features). 2. It identifies 3-5 distinct customer types based on who your brand serves. 3. Each type includes: name, description, company size, budget range, decision-maker title, pain points, and value proposition. 4. Results appear for your review with an AI confidence score. ### Review & Approve Each discovered customer type starts in "Pending Review" status. Review each one and either approve or reject it. Only approved customer types are used for audience discovery and campaign targeting. > 💡 **Tip:** You can run discovery multiple times to find additional customer types. The AI won't duplicate existing ones. --- ## How Audience Discovery Works **URL:** https://brandriseapp.com/faq/how-audience-discovery-works **Category:** Strategy & audience **Tags:** audience, segments, targeting, discovery, ai, marketing Learn how AI builds targeted audience segments from your approved customer types. ### Overview Audience Discovery takes your approved customer types and breaks them into specific, targetable audience segments. Each segment represents a group of people you can reach with tailored messaging. ### How It Works 1. Select an approved customer type. 2. AI generates 2-4 specific audience segments for that type. 3. Each audience includes: name, description, preferred channel, estimated market size, and category. 4. Review and approve the audiences you want to target. ### Why This Matters Different sub-groups within a customer type respond to different messages. A CTO at a startup needs different messaging than a CTO at an enterprise. Audience segments let the AI craft more relevant, targeted content. --- ## How Marketing Plan Generation Works **URL:** https://brandriseapp.com/faq/how-marketing-plans-work **Category:** Strategy & audience **Tags:** marketing plan, strategy, campaigns, ai, content strategy, messaging Understand how AI creates complete marketing strategies with campaigns tailored to your audiences. ### Overview Marketing Plan Generation creates a comprehensive marketing strategy including campaigns, messaging frameworks, and channel strategies — all based on your brand, voice profile, and approved audiences. ### How It Works 1. Make sure you have at least one approved audience. 2. Click "Generate Plan" from the Marketing Plan modal. 3. AI analyzes your brand, voice, customer types, and audiences. 4. It produces a plan with multiple campaigns across different channels. 5. Each campaign includes goals, messaging, and target audiences. ### What's Included A marketing plan typically contains: • Multiple campaigns (email, social media) • Messaging framework and pillars • Channel-specific strategies • KPIs and goals • Content themes and topics > 💡 **Tip:** You can generate multiple plans and have them run in parallel. Each plan creates its own set of campaigns. --- ## How Lead Management Works **URL:** https://brandriseapp.com/faq/how-leads-work **Category:** Strategy & audience **Tags:** leads, discovery, enrichment, outreach, qualification, contacts, geographic, local Learn how Brand Rise discovers, enriches, and manages leads for your brand — including geographic targeting. ### Overview The Leads page is where you manage all your prospects. Brand Rise discovers leads that match your target audiences, enriches them with additional data, and can automatically enroll them in outreach campaigns. ### How It Works 1. Brand Rise discovers leads based on your approved audiences, customer types, and geographic preferences. 2. Each lead is enriched with company info, contact details, and social profiles. 3. You can approve, reject, or qualify leads. 4. Approved leads are automatically enrolled in relevant campaigns (if auto-enroll is enabled). 5. Track each lead's journey from discovery to conversion. ### Geographic Targeting You can control where Brand Rise looks for leads using **Lead Discovery Settings** (the gear icon on the Leads page or Workflows card). **Auto** — The system decides the best mix of local and market-based searches automatically. **Local Priority** — Focuses discovery on your configured local areas first, with radius-based searching (within 50 miles / metropolitan area) to capture surrounding communities. **Hybrid** — Splits discovery evenly between local areas and broader market segments. Local areas are configured as a list of locations (e.g. "Seattle, WA", "Portland, OR"). Each discovered lead is tagged with its geographic source so you can filter by **Local** leads on the Leads page. ### Lead Statuses **New**: Just discovered, awaiting review. **Approved**: Cleared for outreach. **Enriched**: Additional data has been added. **Qualified**: Meets your ideal customer criteria. **Contacted**: Outreach has been sent. **Responded**: The lead replied. **Converted**: Successfully converted. > 💡 **Tip:** Leads with verified email addresses get higher quality scores and are prioritized for outreach. > 💡 **Tip:** Use the Local filter on the Leads page to see only leads discovered from your configured local areas. This is especially useful for businesses that rely on in-person relationships. --- ## Leads — bulk actions & management **URL:** https://brandriseapp.com/faq/leads-bulk-actions **Category:** Strategy & audience **Tags:** leads, bulk, csv, export, delete, enrich, import Select multiple leads, change status, enrich, or remove records in bulk from the Leads page. ### Selecting leads Use row checkboxes on the **Leads** page to select one or many records. Bulk action bars appear when a selection is active. ### Bulk status changes Approve, reject, or set another supported status for all selected leads at once. This is faster than updating rows individually when reviewing discovery results. ### Bulk enrich Run enrichment on multiple approved leads together to fetch company and contact details where available. Progress may show as a background job for large selections. ### Bulk delete Remove selected leads you no longer need. Deletion is permanent for those rows; use when cleaning bad fits or duplicates. > 💡 **Tip:** For how AI discovers and qualifies leads — and typical statuses — see **How Lead Management Works**. File-based CSV import/export is not documented here; use in-app actions unless your workspace documents a separate integration. --- ## How Lead Discovery Works for B2B vs B2C Audiences **URL:** https://brandriseapp.com/faq/b2b-vs-b2c-lead-discovery **Category:** Strategy & audience **Tags:** leads, discovery, b2b, b2c, audience, prospect, referral partner, strategy, geographic, local Understand how Brand Rise finds leads differently depending on whether your audience is B2B (business) or B2C (consumer), and how geographic targeting applies. ### Why It Matters Brand Rise uses a different discovery strategy depending on the **audience category** you set when creating an audience segment. A B2B audience and a B2C audience produce fundamentally different kinds of leads — and understanding the distinction helps you get the most from discovery. ### B2B vs B2C at a Glance ### B2B: Finding Direct Prospects When your audience is categorized as **B2B**, Brand Rise searches for companies and professionals who match your ideal customer profile. It looks for: • Companies in the right **industry** and **size range** • People with relevant **job titles** or decision-making roles • Signals like **technologies used**, company growth indicators, and geographic fit These leads are tagged as **Prospects** — they are potential buyers or clients you can reach out to directly via email campaigns. ### B2C: Finding Referral Partners Individual consumers don't publish professional profiles the way businesses do, so searching for them directly rarely works. Instead, Brand Rise discovers **referral partners** — people and businesses who already have access to your target consumers. For a B2C audience, Brand Rise looks for: • **Influencers and content creators** in your niche • **Community leaders** and local figures • **Complementary businesses** that serve the same customer base These leads are tagged as **Referral Partners**. The idea is to collaborate with them — co-promotions, partnerships, or cross-referrals — to reach the consumers you can't find directly. ### Geographic Targeting & Local Discovery Geographic preferences configured in **Lead Discovery Settings** apply to both B2B and B2C discovery. When **Local Priority** or **Hybrid** mode is enabled, Brand Rise splits searches between your configured local areas and broader market segments. For local searches, the system uses radius-based language (e.g. "within 50 miles of Seattle metropolitan area") to capture surrounding communities and neighboring cities. Each discovered lead is tagged with **discovery_geo** metadata so you can filter by **Local** on the Leads page. This is especially powerful for B2C audiences — local referral partners like nearby businesses, community organizers, and regional influencers are often the highest-value connections. ### How the Audience Category Is Set When Brand Rise generates your audiences (during marketing plan creation or when you add audiences manually), each audience is assigned a category — **B2B** or **B2C** — based on the nature of the customer type it belongs to. You can see and change this in the audience detail view. ### Quality Thresholds To keep your lead list clean, discovery applies a quality filter: • **Person-based leads** need at least a name plus one additional signal (LinkedIn URL, company name, etc.) — quality score ≥ 2. • **Business-only leads** just need a valid company name — quality score ≥ 1. These are saved for later enrichment. Leads below the threshold are silently discarded so you only see actionable results. > 💡 **Tip:** You can steer discovery results by adding **AI Guidance** in your brand settings. For example: "Focus on companies using Shopify" or "Look for wellness influencers in Austin." The guidance is injected directly into the discovery query. > ⚠️ **Warning:** Changing the audience category after leads have been discovered won't retroactively re-label existing leads. It only affects future discovery runs. --- ## Voice Question Sets — Writing Style vs Origin Story **URL:** https://brandriseapp.com/faq/voice-question-sets **Category:** Strategy & audience **Tags:** voice, question sets, origin story, founder, writing style, brand story, use my voice Choose between question sets that capture your writing style or your founding story so the AI has richer context. ### What Are Question Sets? Voice Capture now offers multiple question sets instead of a single fixed set. Each set focuses on a different angle — your **writing style** or your **founding story** — so the AI gets a richer, more complete picture of your brand. ### Available Sets • **Capture My Writing Style** (default) — The original three questions that analyze your word choice, sentence structure, and personality. • **Tell Your Founding Story** — Questions about why you started, your turning point, and what makes the brand personal. Great for founder-forward content like LinkedIn posts and brand storytelling. • **Paste Your Posts** — Provide existing content samples so the AI can match your established voice without answering questions. ### Can I Complete Multiple Sets? Yes. You can complete more than one set over time. When both style and origin answers exist, the AI merges them — using your writing style for tone and your founding story for story-themed posts. > 💡 **Tip:** The origin story set is especially powerful for content themes like "brand story" and "founder spotlight." The more naturally you answer, the more authentic those posts will feel. --- ## Lead Fit Score & Engagement Score **URL:** https://brandriseapp.com/faq/lead-fit-engagement-scores **Category:** Strategy & audience **Tags:** leads, fit score, engagement score, scoring, qualification, priority How the AI calculates fit and engagement scores to help you prioritize leads. ### What Are These Scores? Each lead can have two percentage scores: • **Fit Score** — How well the lead matches your ideal customer profile (industry, company size, role, geography). A high fit score means the lead looks like your target audience. • **Engagement Score** — How actively the lead has interacted with your outreach (opens, clicks, replies). A high engagement score means they're paying attention. ### How Are They Calculated? Fit scores are computed when leads are discovered or enriched, based on how closely their profile matches your approved audience criteria. Engagement scores update dynamically as campaign interactions are tracked — every open, click, and reply increases the score. ### Where to See Them Scores appear on the **Lead Detail** page as progress bars. You can also sort the leads table by fit or engagement to prioritize outreach. > 💡 **Tip:** Focus your outreach on leads with high fit AND high engagement — they match your profile and are actively interested. Leads with high fit but low engagement may need a different approach or channel. --- # Platform Setup ## How to Connect LinkedIn **URL:** https://brandriseapp.com/faq/setup-linkedin **Category:** Platform Setup **Tags:** linkedin, social media, oauth, connect, platform, company page, organization Connect your LinkedIn account to publish posts and run outreach campaigns. Post as yourself or as a Company Page you administer. ### Overview Brand Rise connects to LinkedIn via OAuth to publish posts on your behalf. You can post as your personal profile or as a LinkedIn Company Page (organization) you administer. ### Prerequisites 1. A LinkedIn account (personal profile). 2. To post as a **Company Page**: you must be an **Admin** of that organization in LinkedIn. Only organizations where you have the Admin role will appear in the "Post as" selector after connecting. ### Steps to Connect 1. Go to your brand dashboard and open the Connect Platforms modal. 2. Click "Connect" on the LinkedIn card. 3. A popup will open asking you to sign in to LinkedIn and authorize Brand Rise. 4. **Grant all requested permissions** — including access to your profile and to organizations you manage. LinkedIn may show separate prompts for profile and for company pages; approve both so that Brand Rise can post as you and, if applicable, as your Company Page. 5. Once authorized, the popup closes and LinkedIn shows as "Connected". ### Posting as a Company Page After connecting, if you are an Admin of any LinkedIn Company Pages (organizations), a "Post as" selector will appear on the LinkedIn card. You can choose to post as your personal profile or as one of those company pages. If no company pages appear, ensure you have the **Admin** role on the organization in [LinkedIn](https://www.linkedin.com/company/settings/) and that you granted organization access during the connection flow. ### Troubleshooting **Popup blocked:** Allow popups for this site and try connecting again. **No company pages in the selector:** You must be an **Admin** of the organization (not just a member or moderator). Grant the organization/permission when LinkedIn asks during authorization. If you added the organization after connecting, disconnect and reconnect LinkedIn to refresh the list. > ⚠️ **Warning:** Grant all requested permissions during the LinkedIn authorization. If you skip access to organizations, you will only be able to post as your personal profile. --- ## How to Connect Facebook (Business Page Required) **URL:** https://brandriseapp.com/faq/setup-facebook **Category:** Platform Setup **Tags:** facebook, business page, meta, social media, oauth, connect, platform, business manager, troubleshooting Connect your Facebook Business Page to publish posts. A personal profile alone is not sufficient. ### Overview Facebook requires a Business Page to publish content programmatically. You cannot post to a personal profile — you must have a Facebook Page linked to your account. ### Prerequisites 1. A [Facebook Business Page](https://www.facebook.com/pages/create) (not just a personal profile). 2. You must be **Admin** (or Editor) of that page. 3. If the page is linked to [Meta Business Suite](https://business.facebook.com/), you must also approve the **"Manage your business"** permission when connecting — otherwise Facebook returns no pages even if you selected your page. ### How to Create a Business Page If you don't have one yet: 1. Go to [facebook.com/pages/create](https://www.facebook.com/pages/create) 2. Choose "Business or Brand" 3. Fill in your page name and category 4. Complete the setup wizard ### Steps to Connect 1. Open the Connect Platforms modal from your brand dashboard. 2. Click "Connect" on the Facebook card. 3. Sign in to Facebook when the popup opens. 4. When Facebook shows **"Opt into current page only"** or a list of your pages, you **must select your Page** (e.g. your business page name). Check the box next to the page you want Brand Rise to manage. If you skip this, Facebook will return no pages and connection will fail even if you are the page owner. 5. If Facebook asks for **"Manage your business"** (business_management), approve it — this is required for pages linked to a Business account so that your page appears in the list. 6. Grant **all** other requested permissions. 7. Facebook will show as "Connected" once complete. ### Adding Instagram later If your Facebook Page is linked to an Instagram account, you can enable Instagram posting later without connecting again. After connecting Facebook, when you click Connect on Instagram you may see an option to "Enable from existing connection." You can also connect only Facebook now and add Instagram from the same Page anytime. > 💡 **Tip:** If pages still don't appear, connection fails, or you're on a Meta app in Development Mode, see the companion article **Facebook & Meta — troubleshooting & advanced** in this help center. > ⚠️ **Warning:** Make sure you grant all requested permissions during the OAuth flow. If you skip permissions (especially "Manage your business"), your page may not appear and posting will fail. --- ## Facebook & Meta — Troubleshooting & Advanced **URL:** https://brandriseapp.com/faq/facebook-connection-troubleshooting **Category:** Platform Setup **Tags:** facebook, meta, troubleshooting, business_management, oauth, developer, pages Fix "no pages found," token permissions, and Meta app Development Mode issues when connecting Facebook. ### Why "No Facebook Pages were found" even though I selected my page? If you see that message after selecting your page, the most common cause is that the **"Manage your business"** (business_management) permission was not granted. Disconnect Facebook in Brand Rise, then connect again. When the consent screen appears, accept **every** requested permission, including any business management option. Pages linked to a Meta Business account do not appear in the API until this permission is granted. ### Meta App Roles (Development Mode) While the Meta App is in Development Mode, only users added as **Admin, Developer, or Tester** can use it. Add yourself at the [Meta Developer Console](https://developers.facebook.com/apps/) → your app → **App Roles → Roles**, then accept the invite at [developer requests](https://developers.facebook.com/requests/). ### Troubleshooting checklist If your page doesn't appear after connecting: (1) Disconnect and reconnect, and when prompted choose **"Opt into current page only"** and select your page, and approve **all** permissions including "Manage your business". (2) Verify your token with the [Access Token Debugger](https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/accesstoken/) and ensure `pages_show_list` and `business_management` are present. (3) In [Graph API Explorer](https://developers.facebook.com/tools/explorer/), call **GET /me/accounts** with your user token; if the response is empty, the missing permission or page selection is the cause. --- ## How to Connect Instagram (Business Account Required) **URL:** https://brandriseapp.com/faq/setup-instagram **Category:** Platform Setup **Tags:** instagram, business account, creator account, meta, social media, oauth, connect, platform Connect your Instagram Business or Creator account. Personal accounts cannot be connected. ### Overview Instagram's API only supports Business and Creator accounts. Personal Instagram accounts cannot be connected to third-party tools like Brand Rise. ### Prerequisites 1. An Instagram Business or Creator account (not a personal account). 2. The Instagram account must be linked to a Facebook Business Page. 3. Admin access to the linked Facebook Page. ### How to Switch to a Business Account 1. Open the Instagram app and go to Settings. 2. Tap "Account" → "Switch to Professional Account". 3. Choose "Business" or "Creator". 4. Follow the prompts to link your Facebook Page. 5. Complete the setup. ### Steps to Connect 1. Open the Connect Platforms modal. 2. Click "Connect" on the Instagram card. 3. You'll be redirected to Facebook/Meta login (Instagram uses Meta's OAuth). 4. Select the Facebook Page linked to your Instagram account. 5. Grant all requested permissions. 6. Instagram will show as "Connected". ### Adding Facebook later Your Instagram account is linked to a Facebook Page. You can enable Facebook Page posting later without connecting again. After connecting Instagram, when you click Connect on Facebook you may see an option to "Enable from existing connection." You can also connect only Instagram now and add Facebook from the same Page anytime. > 💡 **Tip:** Instagram connection goes through Facebook's OAuth. You'll need to approve permissions for both your Facebook Page and Instagram account. --- ## How to Connect Twitter/X **URL:** https://brandriseapp.com/faq/setup-twitter **Category:** Platform Setup **Tags:** twitter, x, social media, oauth, connect, platform, tweet Connect your Twitter/X account. Videos are created automatically when video credits are available. --- ## How to Connect WordPress **URL:** https://brandriseapp.com/faq/setup-wordpress **Category:** Platform Setup **Tags:** wordpress, blog, cms, connect, platform, website Connect your WordPress site to publish blog posts directly from Brand Rise. ### Overview WordPress integration allows Brand Rise to publish blog posts directly to your WordPress site. This works with both WordPress.com and self-hosted WordPress sites with the REST API enabled. > 💡 **Tip:** WordPress integration is coming soon. Stay tuned for updates! --- ## How to Connect Pinterest **URL:** https://brandriseapp.com/faq/setup-pinterest **Category:** Platform Setup **Tags:** pinterest, pin, social media, connect, platform, coming soon Pinterest integration status and how connection will work when available. ### Current status Pinterest posting from Brand Rise is **coming soon**. The Connect Platforms UI may show Pinterest with a coming-soon state until the integration is fully enabled. ### Developer / token mode Some environments allow pasting a Pinterest access token for testing when a full OAuth flow is not yet active. Follow any on-screen instructions from your workspace administrator. > 💡 **Tip:** When Pinterest goes live, connection steps will mirror other networks: authorize Brand Rise, select the account or board scope required, and grant requested permissions. --- # Email Setup ## How to Configure Your Email Provider **URL:** https://brandriseapp.com/faq/setup-email-provider **Category:** Email Setup **Tags:** email, sendgrid, mailgun, postmark, aws ses, smtp, configuration, api key, cold email, outreach, drip Connect SendGrid, Mailgun, Postmark, Amazon SES, or custom SMTP for cold outreach and drip campaigns to leads. ### Overview To send outreach and drip campaign emails to leads, you connect an email **sending** provider in brand settings. This is separate from social posting — it powers direct delivery to leads you discover or import. ### Supported providers • **SendGrid** — API key. • **Mailgun** — API key and sending domain. • **Postmark** — API key. • **Amazon SES** — AWS credentials and a verified domain. • **Custom SMTP** — Host, port, username, and password for any compatible SMTP server. ### Choosing a provider Any supported option works. SendGrid is a common starting point with a generous free tier. For high volume, Amazon SES often has the lowest per-email cost. ### Steps to configure 1. Open **Brand Settings** and find the Email Service section. 2. Choose your provider from the dropdown. 3. Enter your API key, AWS credentials, or SMTP details. 4. Set your **From** name and **From** email. 5. Optionally set reply-to and a physical mailing address (CAN-SPAM). 6. Save, then use **Send Test Email** (or Test Connection) to confirm delivery. ### Domain verification (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) For deliverability, use a dedicated sending subdomain (e.g. mail.yourdomain.com) and add the DNS records your provider gives you. Without SPF/DKIM, messages often land in spam. > ⚠️ **Warning:** Domain verification is critical. Using a separate sending domain protects your primary domain's reputation — avoid cold outreach from your main company domain. --- # Content & publishing ## How Spotlight Works **URL:** https://brandriseapp.com/faq/how-spotlight-works **Category:** Content & publishing **Tags:** spotlight, ad hoc, announcements, content, generate, social media Learn how to turn brand updates into ready-to-publish social media content. ### Overview Spotlight lets you tell the AI what's happening with your brand — a new feature, a milestone, an event, or any update — and instantly generate platform-ready content from it. ### How It Works 1. Enter a prompt describing what's going on (e.g. "Launched v2.0 pricing page" or "Hiring a senior developer"). 2. Optionally add details and pick a category (Announcement, Feature, Milestone, Update, Event). 3. Click "Generate Posts" to save your prompt and open the post generator. 4. Choose platforms, tone, and media style, then generate content. 5. Review, edit, and publish — or schedule for later. ### Generate More Each prompt is saved as a card. You can click "Generate Posts" on any existing prompt to create additional content from the same topic — great for repurposing across platforms or creating follow-up posts. > 💡 **Tip:** Spotlight is ideal for timely, reactive content. For planned, recurring content, use Campaigns in your Marketing Plan instead. --- ## Content Queue & Calendar **URL:** https://brandriseapp.com/faq/how-content-scheduling-works **Category:** Content & publishing **Tags:** content queue, scheduling, posts, calendar, automation, social media, approval How the queue, approvals, 7-day generation window, and calendar work before posts go live. ### Overview The **content queue** (Scheduled Posts) is where AI-generated posts sit before they publish. You review, edit, approve, or reschedule from here and from the **calendar** view. ### How it works 1. AI generates content from your campaigns and marketing plan. 2. Items land in the queue with suggested publish times. 3. You review, edit, or approve each piece (depending on your moderation mode). 4. Approved items publish at the scheduled time when the platform is connected. 5. If the platform is not connected, content stays in the queue for manual handling. ### How far ahead we generate Content is generated at most **7 days** in advance: **Approval and feedback** — You see and refine output before a huge backlog builds. **Billing and usage** — Generation stays aligned with your current billing period. ### Content calendar The calendar shows scheduled work across platforms. Drag and drop to reschedule, or open an item to edit copy and media. > 💡 **Tip:** You can always edit AI-generated content before it goes live; the AI treats edits as learning signals. > 💡 **Tip:** For **when** posts send (peak windows, email vs social, timezone), read **Content timing, timezones & learning**. For **domain verification** and **weekly post caps**, read **Publishing limits & domain requirements**. --- ## Content Timing, Timezones & Learning **URL:** https://brandriseapp.com/faq/content-timing-timezones-and-learning **Category:** Content & publishing **Tags:** timezone, timing, schedule, email, social media, learning, calendar Peak posting windows, brand timezone, email send windows, and how timing improves with learning. ### Brand timezone Your brand's timezone is set under **Brand Settings → General**. Scheduled social posts use it so “9 AM” means 9 AM **in your market**, not UTC. See the **Brand timezone** article in this help center for a dedicated guide. ### Social media timing Posts target typical peak engagement windows per platform (e.g. LinkedIn often Tue–Thu mornings; Instagram often evenings). The scheduler adjusts within those patterns using your brand timezone. ### Email outreach timing Outreach respects each lead's timezone when known, sending during roughly **8 AM – 6 PM** local business hours. If the lead's timezone is unknown, your **brand timezone** is used as fallback. ### Adaptive learning As you publish, the system incorporates real engagement patterns and learning signals. Use **Learning** and **Insights** for deeper explanation of how optimization works over time. > 💡 **Tip:** **Publishing limits & domain requirements** explains auto-publish rules and per-platform weekly caps that interact with scheduling. --- ## How Drip Email Campaigns Work **URL:** https://brandriseapp.com/faq/how-drip-campaigns-work **Category:** Content & publishing **Tags:** drip campaign, email sequence, follow-up, automation, nurture, leads, email Learn how automated email sequences nurture leads over time with scheduled follow-ups. ### Overview Drip campaigns are automated email sequences that send a series of emails to leads over time. Each email builds on the previous one, gradually nurturing the lead toward conversion. ### How It Works 1. A drip campaign is created as part of your marketing plan (or manually). 2. The campaign has multiple "steps" — each step is an email with a delay. 3. Leads are enrolled in the campaign (automatically for new leads, or manually). 4. The system sends each email after the specified delay (e.g., Day 1, Day 3, Day 7). 5. If a lead replies, opens, or clicks, the AI tracks these events for optimization. ### Enrollment Leads can be enrolled in campaigns automatically (when "Auto-enroll new leads" is enabled) or manually from the leads page. Each lead's progress through the sequence is tracked individually. > 💡 **Tip:** Drip campaigns respect unsubscribe requests automatically. If a lead unsubscribes, they're removed from all active campaigns. --- ## How AI Video Generation Works **URL:** https://brandriseapp.com/faq/video-generation **Category:** Content & publishing **Tags:** video, ai, content, generation, standard, premium, reels Learn how Brand Rise creates HD videos for your social media posts and where they get used. ### Overview Brand Rise can automatically generate short HD videos for your social media content. Videos are created alongside your post copy and images, giving your content a higher chance of engagement on platforms like Instagram Reels and Facebook Reels. ### Two quality levels **Standard HD** — Great for everyday brand clips, organic posts, and most social content. **Premium HD** — Cinematic quality with sound, reserved for hero moments like ads, launches, and high-impact reels. ### Best use cases • **Reels & short-form** (Instagram, Facebook) — usually Premium for maximum impact. • **Ads & paid creative** — Premium by default, since these are working hardest for you. • **Organic feed posts** — Standard, to stretch your monthly allowance. Brand Rise picks the right quality for each post automatically based on its purpose. You always get exactly what your plan includes — quality choices never reduce your monthly credits. ### How videos are generated 1. When content is queued, Brand Rise checks if you have available video credits for the appropriate quality. 2. A video prompt is built using your brand colors, voice, and composition rules. 3. The video is generated in the background (this can take a few minutes). 4. Once ready, the video appears in your content queue and preview. 5. If credits are exhausted, Brand Rise falls back to a static branded image. ### Where videos are published Videos are natively published to **Instagram Reels** and **Facebook Reels**. On other platforms, the static image version is used. Video assets always take priority over images when available. > 💡 **Tip:** Out of credits? You can purchase Boost credits anytime to keep generating videos beyond your monthly allowance. --- ## Resources & Links — How They Work **URL:** https://brandriseapp.com/faq/resources-and-links **Category:** Content & publishing **Tags:** resources, links, calendar, demo, pricing, cta, content, ai Understand the different resource types and how the AI uses them in generated content. ### What Are Resources? Resources are links and assets your business offers. When the AI generates emails, social posts, or landing pages, it **only** references resources you've configured here. If you haven't added a calendar link, the AI will never suggest "schedule a call." ### Resource Types • **Calendar Link** — A scheduling link (e.g., Calendly, Cal.com). Used as a CTA when the AI wants to invite prospects to book a meeting. • **Downloadable Content** — PDFs, guides, whitepapers. The AI references these when nurturing leads with value-first outreach. • **Brand Demo** — A link to a live demo or brand walkthrough. Used in mid-funnel content to push prospects toward conversion. • **Contact Form** — A web form for inquiries. Used as a softer CTA alternative to calendar links. • **Pricing Page** — A link to your pricing. The AI references this in bottom-of-funnel content when prospects are evaluating cost. • **Blog** — Your blog URL. Used to share relevant content and build authority in social posts. • **Case Study** — Customer success stories. The AI uses these to build credibility and social proof. • **Webinar** — Registration links for upcoming webinars. Used as event-driven CTAs in campaigns. > 💡 **Tip:** The AI matches resource types to the context of each piece of content. For example, an awareness-stage social post might link to a blog, while a follow-up email to a warm lead might include a calendar link. ### Active vs. Inactive Each resource has an active/inactive toggle. Inactive resources are **never** referenced by the AI but remain saved for future use. This is useful for seasonal resources (e.g., a webinar that has ended). --- ## Published Content **URL:** https://brandriseapp.com/faq/published-content **Category:** Content & publishing **Tags:** published, posted, history, content, social media, email View and search all content that has been successfully published across your connected platforms. ### What Is This Page? The Published Content page shows every piece of content that has been successfully posted to your connected platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter/X, Instagram, email). It serves as your complete content history. ### Failed Posts If any posts failed to publish (e.g., due to an expired token or platform error), they appear in a collapsible "Failed Posts" section at the top. You can **retry** failed posts or preview them to see what went wrong. ### Filtering & Search Use the search bar to find posts by content text. Filter by platform, date range, or sort by newest/oldest. This is useful for auditing what was posted and when. > 💡 **Tip:** Posts marked as "User edited" were modified by you before publishing. The AI uses your edits as learning signals to improve future content. --- ## Branding & Media — How It's Used **URL:** https://brandriseapp.com/faq/branding-and-media **Category:** Content & publishing **Tags:** branding, media, logo, colors, style, references, landing page, images Understand how your brand colors, logo, fonts, and style references are used across generated content. ### How Branding Is Extracted When you create a brand with a website URL, the system automatically extracts your **logo**, **primary color**, and **secondary color** from the site. You can manually override any of these at any time. ### Where Branding Is Used • **Landing Pages** — Your logo, colors, and fonts are applied to any landing pages generated for campaigns. The primary color drives buttons, headings, and accents. • **Generated Images** — When the AI creates images for social posts, it uses your brand colors and style references to maintain visual consistency. • **Email Templates** — Outreach emails use your brand name, colors, and logo in headers and footers. • **Social Media Posts** — Content tone and visual style are informed by your brand identity. ### Style References Style references are images you upload that represent your desired visual aesthetic. The AI uses these as context when generating images for posts — think of them as a mood board. You can upload up to **10 style reference images**. Examples: brand photos, past social media graphics, brand photography, or design mockups that capture your look and feel. ### Media AI Guidance You can also provide free-form **Media AI Guidance** — written instructions that steer how the AI generates images (e.g. "use warm tones," "avoid showing faces"). This works alongside style references to keep your visuals on-brand. See the dedicated **Media AI Guidance** article for details. ### Media Library Folders As your library grows, use **folders** to organize images by campaign, product, or season. Folders are purely organizational and don't affect which images the AI selects. See the **Media Library Folders** article for details. > 💡 **Tip:** The more consistent your style references, the more visually cohesive your generated content will be. Avoid mixing vastly different visual styles unless that's intentional. ### Logo & Colors **Logo**: Displayed on landing pages and email headers. Upload a high-quality PNG or SVG for best results. **Primary Color**: Used for buttons, links, headings, and accent elements across all generated assets. **Secondary Color**: Used for backgrounds, borders, and supporting visual elements. ### Fonts Brand fonts (heading and body) are used on generated landing pages. If not set, the system defaults to clean, modern typography. --- ## How Reposting Works **URL:** https://brandriseapp.com/faq/how-reposting-works **Category:** Content & publishing **Tags:** repost, republish, duplicate, content, social media, scheduling Repost previously published content to maximize reach and engagement. ### Overview Reposting lets you duplicate a previously published post and schedule it again. This is useful for evergreen content that performed well, or for reaching audiences in different time zones. ### How It Works 1. Go to Published Content and find a post you want to repost. 2. Click the **Repost** button on the post card. 3. A copy of the post is created in your Scheduled Posts queue, scheduled 5 minutes from now. 4. You can edit the reposted content or reschedule it before it goes live. > 💡 **Tip:** Reposted content is marked so the AI knows not to count it as new content. Performance data is tracked separately for the repost. --- ## Publishing Limits & Domain Requirements **URL:** https://brandriseapp.com/faq/publishing-limits-and-domain **Category:** Content & publishing **Tags:** limits, domain, verification, auto-publish, scheduling, linkedin, facebook, twitter Weekly posting caps per platform, verified domain for auto-publish, and how limits interact with your queue. ### Verified domain and auto-publish When content is set to publish automatically, your brand must have a **verified domain** tied to the account. Without verification, posts stay in the queue for manual handling. See **How Domain Verification Works** in this help center for setup steps. ### Weekly caps per social platform To stay within platform norms and reduce risk of throttling, Brand Rise spreads social posts over the week with per-platform weekly limits. Current defaults: **LinkedIn — 3 posts per week**, **Twitter/X — 7**, **Facebook — 5**. Other platforms follow their own rules as configured in the product. ### How this fits the content queue The scheduler respects these caps when placing posts. If you have many campaigns, posts are distributed across the week rather than dumping all at once. You can still review and reschedule items in Scheduled Posts and the calendar. > 💡 **Tip:** Email drip timing and lead outreach use separate rules (timezone-aware sending). Caps here apply to **social** publishing volume. --- ## How Landing Pages Work **URL:** https://brandriseapp.com/faq/how-landing-pages-work **Category:** Content & publishing **Tags:** landing page, campaign, url, cta, publish, leads, web AI-generated pages, campaign-specific URLs, tracking, and how landing pages connect to outreach. ### What landing pages are for Landing pages are public pages for your brand — typically a hero, messaging, and a clear CTA. In Brand Rise, each campaign gets its own dedicated landing page with tailored headlines, messaging, and CTAs generated from that campaign's strategy and audience. ### Campaign-specific links Each campaign landing page has its own unique URL and slug. When you share links from email or social, use the campaign-specific URL so **views and clicks** roll up to that campaign in analytics. ### Auto-generation on activation 1. When you activate a campaign, Brand Rise automatically generates a landing page for it. 2. You can also generate or regenerate a landing page manually from the **Landing Pages** overview. 3. Edit the page content, then publish when ready. 4. Preview the live page from the editor. ### Branding Your brand colors, logo, and fonts from **Branding & Media** apply to generated landing pages so they match your identity. > 💡 **Tip:** Landing page performance (views, CTA clicks) appears alongside other metrics on the Performance dashboard. --- ## Brand timezone **URL:** https://brandriseapp.com/faq/brand-timezone-explained **Category:** Content & publishing **Tags:** timezone, schedule, brand settings, regional, dst, email, social What the brand timezone controls, how it affects posts and email, and where to change it. ### What it affects The timezone on your brand is used when interpreting **scheduled social posts** and when the system falls back for **email outreach** (if a lead's timezone is unknown). It anchors “local” times to the market you operate in. ### Where to set it Open **Brand Settings → General** and choose your timezone. After saving, new scheduling uses the updated zone. Existing queued items may still show the times they were created with until you reschedule. ### Daylight saving and changes Pick the correct **region** (e.g. America/New_York), not a fixed UTC offset, so daylight saving is handled consistently. If you move or retarget a brand, update the timezone to match your primary audience. > 💡 **Tip:** For peak posting windows and adaptive timing, see **Content timing, timezones & learning**. For the 7-day generation window and calendar, see **Content queue & calendar**. --- ## Media AI Guidance — Steering Image Generation **URL:** https://brandriseapp.com/faq/media-ai-guidance **Category:** Content & publishing **Tags:** media, AI guidance, images, visual, generation, brand style, photography Give the AI visual direction so generated images match your brand aesthetic, avoid unwanted elements, and stay on-brand. ### What Is Media AI Guidance? Media AI Guidance is a free-form text field on your brand where you describe the visual style you want AI-generated images to follow. It is injected into every image generation prompt alongside your brand colors and style references. ### What to Include • **Aesthetic direction** — "Bright, airy lifestyle photography" or "Dark moody product shots with dramatic lighting" • **Things to avoid** — "Never show people's faces" or "No stock-photo-looking imagery" • **Specific requirements** — "Always include natural textures" or "Use shallow depth of field" • **Brand consistency** — "Match the warm golden-hour feel of our Instagram feed" ### Where to Set It Open **Branding & Media** on your brand dashboard, or go to **Brand Settings → Branding**. Click the guidance text to edit. You can also use the "Generate with AI" button to have the system suggest guidance based on your brand. > 💡 **Tip:** Media AI Guidance stacks with your style reference images. References show the AI what your brand looks like; guidance tells it what rules to follow. --- ## Offering-Specific Images — Hero & Reference Photos **URL:** https://brandriseapp.com/faq/offering-specific-images **Category:** Content & publishing **Tags:** offerings, images, hero, reference, similar, generation, product photos Upload hero images and reference photos per offering so AI-generated content features the right product visuals. ### What Are Offering Images? Each offering can have its own images in two roles: • **Hero Image** — The primary product/service photo used in landing pages, emails, and featured social posts. • **Reference Images** — Additional photos that show the AI what your offering looks like. The AI uses these to generate new, similar images that stay visually consistent with your actual product. ### How Similar Image Generation Works When you upload reference images for an offering, the AI can generate new images that look similar — same style, colors, and feel — but with variations suitable for different platforms and campaigns. This keeps your visual identity consistent without needing a photographer for every post. ### How to Add Offering Images 1. Go to **Branding & Media** or **Offerings** on your brand dashboard. 2. Open an offering's detail view. 3. Upload a hero image and/or reference images. 4. When content is generated for that offering, the AI automatically uses these images. > 💡 **Tip:** The more reference images you provide, the better the AI understands your product's visual identity. 3-5 reference images per offering is a good starting point. --- ## Media Library Folders **URL:** https://brandriseapp.com/faq/media-library-folders **Category:** Content & publishing **Tags:** media, folders, library, organize, images, assets, branding Organize your brand media into folders for easier browsing and management. ### What Are Media Folders? Media Library folders let you organize your uploaded images, style references, and generated media into named groups. This is especially helpful as your media library grows — instead of scrolling through dozens of images, you can sort them by campaign, product, season, or any grouping that makes sense. ### How to Use Folders 1. Go to **Branding & Media** on your brand dashboard. 2. Click **New Folder** to create a folder and give it a name. 3. Drag images into folders, or move them using the image menu. 4. Click a folder to view only its contents. Click "All" to see everything. ### How Folders Affect Content Generation Folders are purely organizational — they do not affect which images the AI uses for content generation. The AI considers all uploaded brand media regardless of folder placement. Image roles (hero, reference, style) determine how images are used, not their folder. > 💡 **Tip:** Folders are optional. If you prefer a flat library, everything works exactly as before. --- ## How Blogs Work **URL:** https://brandriseapp.com/faq/how-blogs-work **Category:** Content & publishing **Tags:** blog, wordpress, seo, publishing, topics, drafts Generate topics, draft long-form posts, and publish to WordPress or Brand Rise–hosted pages. ### Overview The Blogs module helps you create SEO-optimized long-form content. Brand Rise generates topic ideas based on your brand, drafts full blog posts with proper formatting, and publishes them to WordPress or hosts them on Brand Rise. ### How It Works 1. **Generate Topics** — Brand Rise analyzes your brand and suggests blog topics with SEO keywords and search intent. 2. **Approve or Reject** — Review each topic. Approved topics can be turned into drafts; rejected topics are hidden by default (use the toggle to view them). 3. **Generate Draft** — From an approved topic, generate a full blog post with title, slug, excerpt, and structured content. 4. **Edit & Refine** — Use the rich-text editor with its sticky formatting toolbar to polish the draft, add CTAs, and optimize SEO metadata. 5. **Publish** — Send the post to your connected WordPress site, or publish it as a Brand Rise–hosted page at `/blog/:slug`. ### WordPress Setup To publish posts to WordPress, connect your site in **Publishing → Platforms**. You'll need your site URL, username, and an Application Password (generated in your WordPress admin under Users → Profile → Application Passwords). Brand Rise supports both initial publishing and re-publishing/updating existing posts. ### Brand Rise–Hosted Blogs You can also publish blog posts directly on Brand Rise. Published posts are accessible at a public URL and include view-count tracking. This is a great option if you don't have a WordPress site. ### Blog Promotion Published blog posts are automatically integrated into your social content mix via the **blog_promotion** theme. This means Brand Rise may generate social posts that link back to your blog articles, driving traffic to your content. > 💡 **Tip:** Topics marked as "used" are automatically hidden from the Topics tab since they already have a corresponding blog post under Posts. --- ## Blog Topics, Keywords & SEO **URL:** https://brandriseapp.com/faq/blog-topics-and-seo **Category:** Content & publishing **Tags:** blog, seo, keywords, topics, search-intent How Brand Rise generates topic ideas with SEO keywords and search intent. ### Topic Generation Brand Rise analyzes your brand description, industry, offerings, and audience to suggest blog topics. Each topic includes a primary keyword, keyword cluster, search intent (informational, commercial, transactional, navigational), and a priority score. ### Approving & Rejecting Topics Review each generated topic and approve or reject it. Only approved topics can have drafts generated. Rejected topics are hidden by default — use the toggle on the Topics tab to show them. You can also manually create topics if you have a specific idea in mind. ### SEO Metadata When a blog post is generated, Brand Rise automatically creates an SEO title, meta description, and URL slug. You can edit all of these in the blog editor before publishing. > 💡 **Tip:** The more complete your brand profile (offerings, audiences, resources), the more relevant and targeted your blog topics will be. --- ## How Ad Campaigns Work **URL:** https://brandriseapp.com/faq/how-ad-campaigns-work **Category:** Content & publishing **Tags:** ads, campaigns, facebook, instagram, linkedin, tiktok, creative Generate ad copy and images for paid campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and X. ### Overview The Ad Campaigns module generates platform-specific ad copy and images tailored to your brand. You select a platform, objective, and optionally a specific offering or audience — then Brand Rise creates 3 unique ad creative variants ready to copy into your ad platform. ### How It Works 1. **Create a Campaign** — Pick a platform (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X), an objective (Awareness, Traffic, Conversions, etc.), and optionally target a specific offering or audience. 2. **AI Generates Variants** — Brand Rise creates 3 ad copy variants (headline, body, CTA) plus a unique image for each, all tailored to your brand identity. 3. **Review & Edit** — Click "View Details" on any creative to edit copy, preview how it looks on the target platform, and download the image. 4. **Copy to Your Ad Platform** — Use the "Copy All" button to grab the copy, download the image, and paste everything into your ad manager. ### Brand Context Generated ads use your brand description, voice profile, color palette, logo, offerings, resources, and AI guidance to produce copy and visuals that match your brand identity. Your actual brand logo is composited onto the ad image — the more complete your brand profile, the better the results. ### Platform Previews The Ad Creative Detail page shows a live preview of how your ad will appear on the target platform. As you edit the headline, body, or CTA, the preview updates in real time so you can see exactly what the final ad will look like. ### Downloading & Copying Each creative includes a **Download Image** button to save the ad image to your device, and a **Copy All** button that copies the headline, body, and CTA text to your clipboard. You can also copy individual fields. ### Audience Filtering The target audience dropdown is disabled until you select a platform. Once a platform is chosen, audiences are filtered by channel preference to show only relevant options. Changing the platform resets the audience selection. ### Monthly Limits Each ad generation (which produces 3 variants) counts as one use toward your monthly limit. Limits vary by plan: Starter (5/month), Growth (15/month), Scale (50/month). You can see your remaining generations at the top of the Ad Campaigns page. > 💡 **Tip:** V2 will add automated ad posting and performance monitoring directly through Brand Rise — stay tuned! --- ## Editing & Managing Ad Creatives **URL:** https://brandriseapp.com/faq/ad-creative-editing **Category:** Content & publishing **Tags:** ads, creative, editing, cta, images, download How to edit ad copy, update CTA links, download images, and manage your ad creatives. ### The Ad Creative Detail Page Click "View Details" on any ad creative to open a two-column workspace. The left column contains editable fields (headline, body, CTA text, destination URL) and upcoming ad metrics. The right column shows a live platform preview that updates as you type. ### Editing Copy & CTA All text fields are editable inline. Update the headline, body text, CTA button text, or destination URL — changes save automatically. The platform preview on the right reflects your edits in real time. ### Downloading Images Use the **Download Image** button on the creative detail page to save the ad image to your device. Images are generated at a resolution suitable for the target platform. ### Deleting Creatives To delete a creative, open it in the detail view and click the red **Delete Creative** button below the copy section. This action is permanent and cannot be undone. > 💡 **Tip:** Ad metrics (impressions, clicks, CTR, conversions) will be available in V2 when automated posting is enabled. --- # Intelligence & metrics ## How the AI Learning System Works **URL:** https://brandriseapp.com/faq/how-learning-system-works **Category:** Intelligence & metrics **Tags:** learning, ai, optimization, performance, improvement, data points, machine learning Learn how Brand Rise's AI improves over time by learning from your campaign performance. ### Overview Brand Rise's AI learning system continuously analyzes the performance of your campaigns and content to improve future output. The more data it collects, the smarter it gets. ### Learning Phases **Collecting Data (0-30 data points)**: The AI is gathering baseline performance data. Content may feel generic at this stage. **Finding Patterns (30-100 data points)**: The AI starts identifying what works — which topics, tones, and formats get the best engagement. **Applying Learnings (100-500 data points)**: The AI actively optimizes content based on discovered patterns. You'll notice measurable improvement. **Fully Optimized (500+ data points)**: The AI makes predictive recommendations and autonomous improvements based on deep understanding of your audience. ### What Counts as a Data Point Each sent campaign execution (email sent, post published) with tracked results counts as one data point. Opens, clicks, replies, and engagement metrics all contribute to the learning. > 💡 **Tip:** The more content you publish and the more feedback you provide, the faster the AI learns. Consistent activity accelerates the learning curve. --- ## How Platform Learning Strategies Work **URL:** https://brandriseapp.com/faq/how-platform-learning-strategies-work **Category:** Intelligence & metrics **Tags:** learning, platform, strategy, batching, A/B testing, optimization, variants Learn how the AI optimizes content for each platform through progressive learning stages. ### Overview Each platform (LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, etc.) has its own independent learning strategy. The AI progressively learns what works best for your audience on each platform by running A/B tests and analyzing engagement data. ### Learning Stages **Initial Learning (0–50 data points)**: The AI tests aggressively with 3 A/B variants per post to quickly discover what resonates. **Active Learning (50–200 data points)**: Patterns are emerging. The AI refines with 2 variants per post, focusing on the most promising approaches. **Optimized (200–500 data points)**: The AI has strong confidence in what works. It scales successful patterns with weekly tests to stay current. **Mature (500+ data points)**: Fully optimized. The AI runs minimal monthly tests to maintain peak performance and detect audience shifts. ### What Counts as a Data Point Each published post with tracked engagement (likes, comments, shares, clicks) counts as one data point. The more you publish, the faster the AI learns for that platform. ### Batch Size & Intervals The batch size controls how many posts are generated at once, and the interval determines how frequently new batches are created. These settings auto-adjust as the AI moves through learning stages, but can be manually overridden. > 💡 **Tip:** Each platform learns independently — strong performance on LinkedIn doesn't automatically transfer to Instagram. Publish consistently on each platform for the best results. --- ## How AI Insights Work **URL:** https://brandriseapp.com/faq/how-insights-work **Category:** Intelligence & metrics **Tags:** insights, ai, analytics, recommendations, optimization, performance Learn how the AI generates actionable insights from your marketing performance data. ### Overview AI Insights analyzes your campaign performance, content engagement, and audience behavior to surface actionable recommendations that improve your marketing results. ### How They Work 1. The AI continuously monitors your campaign and content performance data. 2. It identifies patterns, trends, and anomalies across platforms. 3. Insights are generated with a confidence score and expected impact. 4. You can apply an insight (the AI adjusts future content accordingly) or dismiss it. ### Insight Types **Content**: What topics, formats, and tones perform best. **Timing**: When your audience is most engaged. **Audience**: Which segments respond to which messaging. **Channel**: Platform-specific optimization opportunities. > 💡 **Tip:** Insights improve over time as more data is collected. The more content you publish and track, the more precise and actionable the insights become. --- ## How Performance Metrics Work **URL:** https://brandriseapp.com/faq/how-performance-metrics-work **Category:** Intelligence & metrics **Tags:** performance, metrics, analytics, engagement, sync, social media, dashboard Learn how Brand Rise tracks engagement across social media, email, and landing pages. ### Overview The Performance Dashboard aggregates engagement data across all your connected platforms — social media, email outreach, and landing pages — into a single view. ### Social Media Metrics After a post is published, Brand Rise periodically fetches engagement data (likes, comments, shares, impressions, clicks) from each platform. Metrics are synced automatically every 2 hours and can also be refreshed manually with the **Sync Social** button. ### Email Metrics Email performance (opens, clicks, replies, bounces) is tracked in near real-time via webhook events from your email provider. Each metric is attributed to the specific campaign and lead. ### Landing Page Metrics Landing page views, unique visitors, and CTA clicks are tracked automatically when you publish a landing page through Brand Rise. > 💡 **Tip:** Metrics improve over time as more data accumulates. The AI uses this data to learn what content performs best and optimize future output. --- ## How Usage Tracking Works **URL:** https://brandriseapp.com/faq/how-usage-tracking-works **Category:** Intelligence & metrics **Tags:** usage, tracking, billing, limits, leads, campaigns, content, credits Understand how usage is tracked per brand and per billing period. ### Overview The Usage page shows detailed consumption metrics for a specific brand within a selected billing period. Your plan determines the monthly limits for leads, campaigns, content, and AI credits. ### What's Tracked • **AI-generated content** — Posts, emails, and images created by the AI. • **Leads discovered & enriched** — Leads found and enriched with contact data. • **Campaigns active** — Number of campaigns running simultaneously. • **Video credits used** — Standard and Premium HD videos generated. • **Connected channels** — Platforms linked for publishing (not period-scoped). ### Period Selection Switch between billing periods using the dropdown to compare usage over time. Select "Custom Range" for a specific date window. Usage resets at the start of each billing period. > 💡 **Tip:** Usage counts are scoped to the selected brand only. Plan limits are shared across all brands on your team. --- ## Activity Log **URL:** https://brandriseapp.com/faq/activity-log **Category:** Intelligence & metrics **Tags:** activity, audit, history, log, brand, content, campaigns A chronological audit of important actions for your brand — content, campaigns, publishing, and media. ### What is the Activity Log? The Activity Log is a per-brand timeline of system and user actions: when content was generated, edited, approved, published or failed; when images or videos were created; and when campaigns changed state (created, started, paused, and similar). It helps you trace what happened and when. ### Actors and filters Each entry is tied to an action type. You can filter by action category, who performed the change (you, a teammate, or automation), and search text. Pagination loads older events in batches. ### Content preview For many content-related events, you can open a preview to see the post or asset involved. This is useful when debugging a failed publish or confirming what went live. > 💡 **Tip:** The log complements **Published Content** (what actually posted) and **Workflows** (automated jobs). Use it when you need a full audit trail of changes. --- # Automation & safety ## How Workflows Work **URL:** https://brandriseapp.com/faq/how-workflows-work **Category:** Automation & safety **Tags:** workflows, automation, background, tasks, scheduling Understand how automated workflows handle marketing tasks in the background. ### Overview Workflows are automated processes that run in the background to handle repetitive marketing tasks — like generating content, sending emails, discovering leads, and analyzing performance. ### How They Work 1. Each workflow handles a specific task (e.g. content generation, lead enrichment, email sending). 2. Workflows can be enabled or disabled per brand. 3. When enabled, they run automatically on a schedule or are triggered by events. 4. You can view the status and history of each workflow, and manually trigger runs when needed. ### Categories **Discovery**: Find new customer types, audiences, and leads. **Content**: Generate and schedule posts and emails. **Outreach**: Send emails and manage drip campaigns. **Analytics**: Track performance and generate insights. > 💡 **Tip:** Workflows respect your approval settings. If moderation is enabled, generated content waits for your review before publishing. --- ## Automation & Moderation Settings Explained **URL:** https://brandriseapp.com/faq/automation-settings **Category:** Automation & safety **Tags:** automation, settings, moderation, auto-learn, insights, approval Understand each toggle and mode in your Automation and Moderation settings. ### Auto-Learning Found under **Settings → Automation**. When enabled, the AI continuously analyzes your content performance — likes, impressions, clicks, open rates — to discover what works and what doesn't. It generates insights that are stored and used to improve future content. Turn this off if you want full manual control over strategy. ### Auto-Apply High-Confidence Insights Found under **Settings → Automation**. When enabled, insights with a confidence score of **80% or higher** are automatically applied to future content generation — no manual review needed. Insights below that threshold still appear in your Insights Dashboard for you to approve or dismiss individually. When off, **all** insights require manual approval before they influence content. ### Content Review Mode Found under **Settings → Moderation**. This controls how much oversight you have before content is published: • **Review All Before Posting** — Every piece of generated content lands in your Scheduled Posts queue for approval. Nothing goes live without your explicit OK. Best when starting out. • **Review New Patterns Only** — The AI publishes content that matches patterns you've already approved. Only novel or unfamiliar content is flagged for review. Good balance of speed and control. • **Review Random Samples** — Most content publishes automatically, but random pieces are held for your review to maintain quality. Suited for high-volume brands with established voice. • **Fully Automatic** — Content is generated and published without any manual review. The fastest option, recommended only after the AI has learned your preferences well. ### Content Safety Policy Found under **Settings → Moderation**. This sets guardrails to prevent inappropriate content: • **Strict** — Blocks explicit, suggestive, and profane content. Flags borderline material for review. • **Moderate** — Blocks explicit content. Flags suggestive and profane content for manual review. • **Permissive** — Blocks only extreme or illegal content. Allows profanity and suggestive material. You can also add **Custom Blocked Words** — brand-specific terms that should always be blocked. ### Require 10 Approved Posts First > 💡 **Tip:** Found under **Settings → Moderation**. This safety gate only appears when you're in **Fully Automatic** mode. It prevents auto-posting until you've manually approved at least 10 posts, ensuring the AI has enough feedback to match your expectations before flying solo. Once the gate is met, it stays unlocked. ### Which mode should I use? > 💡 **Tip:** **New brands**: Start with "Review All" so the AI learns your voice from your edits and approvals. **After 2–4 weeks**: Consider switching to "Review New Patterns" to save time while keeping guardrails on novel content. **Established brands**: "Review Random" or "Fully Automatic" once you trust the AI output consistently. --- ## How Domain Verification Works **URL:** https://brandriseapp.com/faq/how-domain-verification-works **Category:** Automation & safety **Tags:** domain, verification, dns, txt record, automated, publishing Verify your domain to enable automated publishing and email sending. ### Why Verify? Domain verification proves you own the domain associated with your brand. It's required to enable fully automated content publishing and email sending. Without it, content stays in the queue for manual publishing. ### How It Works 1. Open the Domain Verification dialog from your brand dashboard (Setup Progress → Verify Domain). 2. Brand Rise generates a unique TXT record for your domain. 3. Add the TXT record to your domain's DNS settings (via your registrar or DNS provider). 4. Click "Verify" — the system checks for the record. 5. Once verified, automated publishing and email sending are enabled. ### DNS Propagation DNS changes can take 1–48 hours to propagate. If verification fails immediately, wait a few hours and try again. Most registrars propagate within 15 minutes. > 💡 **Tip:** Domain verification is optional for getting started. You can still review and manually publish content without a verified domain. --- ## Content Approval Gate (First 10 Posts) **URL:** https://brandriseapp.com/faq/how-content-approval-gate-works **Category:** Automation & safety **Tags:** approval, gate, moderation, first 10, safety, automation, review Understand the safety gate that requires manual approval of your first 10 posts before enabling full automation. ### Overview When your brand is set to Fully Automatic moderation mode, the approval gate requires you to manually approve at least 10 posts before the AI can publish on its own. This ensures the AI has enough feedback to match your expectations. ### How It Works 1. With Fully Automatic mode enabled, the gate activates. 2. All generated content goes to your Scheduled Posts queue for review. 3. As you approve posts, the counter tracks your progress (e.g., 4/10). 4. Once 10 posts have been approved, the gate unlocks permanently. 5. Future content publishes automatically without manual review. ### Why This Exists Publishing untested AI content can damage your brand reputation. The gate ensures you've reviewed enough output to trust the AI's quality and voice matching before it operates independently. > 💡 **Tip:** The gate is per-brand. Each brand you set to Fully Automatic needs its own 10 approved posts. --- ## Content Moderation & Safety **URL:** https://brandriseapp.com/faq/content-moderation **Category:** Automation & safety **Tags:** moderation, safety, content policy, blocked words, shield, guardrails Configure how strictly Brand Rise filters generated content and which words to always block for this brand. ### Where to Find It Open a brand and go to **Publishing → Moderation** (the Shield tab). Settings here apply to every piece of content generated for this brand. ### Content Policy Levels **Standard** — sensible defaults for most brands. Blocks profanity, hate speech, and unsafe claims. **Strict** — adds extra filtering for regulated industries (health, finance, legal). Recommended when accuracy and tone matter most. **Custom** — start from Standard and layer your own blocked words on top. ### Custom Blocked Words > 💡 **Tip:** Add specific words or phrases that should never appear in generated content for this brand — competitor names, banned product claims, internal codenames, etc. The list is enforced at generation time and at publish time as a safety net. ### Auto vs Review-All Mode > ⚠️ **Warning:** Moderation rules apply in **both** publishing modes, but the safety guardrails are stricter in **Auto** mode. If content fails moderation in Auto mode, it gets routed to your queue for human review instead of being silently dropped. ### How It Pairs with AI Guidance Moderation defines what content **must not** contain. Your **AI Guidance** (in Brand settings) defines what content **should** contain. Use both together for the strongest brand safety posture. --- # Features ## Offerings **URL:** https://brandriseapp.com/faq/what-are-offerings **Category:** Features **Tags:** offerings, products, services, content, AI How offerings power your AI-generated content ### What are Offerings? Offerings are the products and services your brand provides. By defining them here, you give the AI concrete things to talk about instead of generic marketing language. ### How are they used? When generating content, the AI references your active offerings — their names, descriptions, and categories — so every post, email, or campaign is grounded in what you actually sell. Offerings are rotated automatically (least-recently-used) to ensure variety across your content. ### Draft vs Active Offerings discovered from your website start as drafts. Only active offerings are used in content generation. Review and approve drafts to start featuring them. ### Campaign Linking You can link specific offerings to individual campaigns. When linked, only those offerings appear in that campaign's content. Leave a campaign unlinked to rotate through all active offerings. ### Offering-Specific Images Each offering can have its own **hero image** and **reference images**. The AI uses these to generate visually consistent content specific to that product or service. See the **Offering-Specific Images** article for details. --- ## Creative Studio — Generate Images & Videos On Demand **URL:** https://brandriseapp.com/faq/creative-studio **Category:** Features **Tags:** creative studio, image generation, video generation, media, on demand A standalone workspace for generating brand-aware images and videos outside the campaign queue. ### What It Is The **Creative Studio** is a standalone media workspace for generating images and videos on demand — separate from the automated content queue. Use it to spin up assets for landing pages, one-off posts, ads, or anywhere else you need branded media fast. ### How It Works 1. Pick a brand to ground the generation in your visual identity (logo, colors, brand media guidance). 2. Choose **Image** or **Video**. 3. Describe what you want in the prompt. 4. Optionally attach style references or an offering for visual grounding. 5. Generate. Results appear in the right column and persist across your session. ### Brand-Aware by Default Generations automatically pull in the selected brand's style guide, brand media guidance, and visual profile preferences — so the output looks like *your* brand without re-explaining it every time. ### Saving to Brand Media > 💡 **Tip:** Approved generations can be saved into the brand's **Media library** for reuse in future campaigns, ads, or landing pages. ### Costs & Limits Each generation counts against your team's monthly image or video allowance. Refinements (regenerations) use a weighted ledger — see your **Usage** page for current consumption. --- # Billing ## How Video Credits Work **URL:** https://brandriseapp.com/faq/video-credits **Category:** Billing **Tags:** video, credits, billing, standard, premium Understand Standard HD vs Premium HD video credits and how they are consumed each month. ### Two pools of credits Your plan includes two separate video allowances: • **Standard HD credits** — your everyday video allowance for organic posts and most content. • **Premium HD credits** — reserved for your highest-impact content, like ads and hero reels. Each video generation consumes one credit from the appropriate pool, based on the post's purpose. ### You always get what you paid for Brand Rise automatically picks the best video for each post within the quality you've paid for. **Your monthly credit count never goes down** based on which video gets produced — Standard credits always produce one Standard video, Premium credits always produce one Premium video. ### When credits reset Both pools reset at the start of each billing period. Unused credits do not roll over. ### What happens when credits run out > 💡 **Tip:** When a pool is exhausted, Brand Rise either falls back to the other pool (preserving your paid entitlement) or to a static image. You can purchase Boost credits to top up at any time. --- ## Boost Credits — Top Up Anytime **URL:** https://brandriseapp.com/faq/boost-credits **Category:** Billing **Tags:** boost, credits, purchase, top-up, video Purchase additional video generation credits beyond your monthly plan allowance. ### What are Boost credits? Boost credits are one-time purchases that add extra video generation capacity to your team balance. Use them when your monthly plan credits run out. Boost credits never expire. ### Available packs Choose from 50, 200, 500, or 2,000 credit packs. Larger packs offer a lower per-credit cost — the 2,000 pack saves 50% compared to buying individually. ### How they are used > 💡 **Tip:** Boost credits are only spent **after** your monthly plan credits are exhausted. **Standard HD videos consume fewer boosts than Premium HD videos** — the exact cost is shown before each generation. Boosts are shared across all brands in your team. --- ## Billing, Plans & Subscription **URL:** https://brandriseapp.com/faq/billing-plans-and-subscription **Category:** Billing **Tags:** billing, stripe, subscription, plan, upgrade, trial, payment, invoice How team billing works with Stripe, changing plans, trials, payment methods, and usage across brands. ### One subscription per team Billing is attached to your **team**, not to each brand individually. Plan limits (posts, leads, emails, images, video credits, seats, etc.) are **shared** across every brand on that team. ### Plans and upgrades Open **Billing** from the dashboard to see your current tier, status (active, trialing, past due, canceled), and trial countdown when applicable. Use **Upgrade** or change-plan options to pick a higher tier; checkout runs securely through **Stripe**. ### Trials During a trial, usage may be capped separately from paid limits until you subscribe. After you complete checkout successfully, full tier limits apply for the billing period. ### Payment methods and history Add, set default, or remove cards on the Billing page. **Billing History** lists past invoices and receipts from Stripe when available. ### Usage and overages Detailed per-brand usage for the current period is on each brand's **Usage** page. Video top-ups use **Boost credits** (see **Boost Credits** and **How Video Credits Work** in this help center). > 💡 **Tip:** Recommended brand counts shown in the app are guidance only — paid tiers do not hard-cap how many brands you create; pooled limits still apply. --- ## Founding Member Program **URL:** https://brandriseapp.com/faq/founding-member **Category:** Billing **Tags:** founding member, pricing, lifetime, discount, early access Lock in lifetime founding pricing while spots remain in the global pool. ### What You Get Founding Members lock in **lifetime founding pricing** on their plan — the rate never increases as long as the subscription stays active. You also get early access to new features and a direct line to the team for feedback. ### How Spots Work Founding spots come from a **global pool** (default: 100 total spots) — not per-plan. Once the pool is full, the program closes and standard pricing applies to new signups. ### How to Claim a Spot 1. Open the **Plans** modal from your billing page or onboarding. 2. If founding spots remain, you'll see a **Founding Member** banner above the plan cards. 3. Pick any paid plan and complete checkout — your founding rate locks in automatically. ### Keeping Your Rate > ⚠️ **Warning:** Your founding rate stays as long as your subscription remains **active**. If you cancel and re-subscribe later, you'll be billed at the standard rate (or whatever rate is current at that time). ### Upgrades & Downgrades > 💡 **Tip:** You can upgrade or downgrade between paid plans and keep your founding discount on the new plan. Switching to free or letting the subscription lapse forfeits the founding rate. --- # Account & Security ## Account & Security **URL:** https://brandriseapp.com/faq/account-and-security **Category:** Account & Security **Tags:** account, security, password, email, privacy, session, auth Sign-in, password reset, sessions, and where to find privacy and legal information. ### Signing in Use the email and password (or provider) you registered with. If you forget your password, use the **Forgot password** flow on the sign-in page to receive a reset link. ### Email and profile Your login email identifies your user across teams and brands. To change account details, use the profile or account options provided in the app, or contact support if something is locked after signup. ### Sessions Sign out from the sidebar or user menu when using a shared computer. Staying signed in on a trusted device is normal for day-to-day use. ### Data and legal How we handle personal data is described in the **Privacy Policy** and **Terms of Service** linked from the marketing site and app footer. For product behavior questions, search this FAQ or contact support. ### Export and account deletion From **Account Settings**, you can export your data and request account deletion. Deletion is irreversible; confirm carefully when prompted. --- # Settings ## UI Mode — Simple, Streamlined & Detailed **URL:** https://brandriseapp.com/faq/interface-mode **Category:** Settings **Tags:** interface, mode, simple, streamlined, detailed, ui, settings, dashboard, navigation, gating, density Three density modes tailored to different audiences, with a per-section "More" disclosure in Simple. Setup gating is universal across all modes. ### What Is UI Mode? UI Mode controls how dense the interface looks once your brand is set up. It does **not** disable any features and it does **not** change how Brand Rise generates content — every brand has access to the full platform regardless of mode. Choose the mode that matches your day-to-day comfort level. ### Three modes **Simple** — designed for owner-operators (coffee shop, plumber, local services). Each sidebar section shows only the essentials; advanced tools live behind a "More ▾" toggle in that section. Lists show a status pill only — no extra chips. To edit something, open it and use the Edit button on the detail page. **Streamlined** — designed for SaaS founders and technical non-marketers. Lists show status plus 1–2 key signals (channel, audience). Edit happens on the detail page, like Simple. Sidebar shows all section items at once. **Detailed** — designed for marketers and agencies. Every chip, drift warning, inline edit pencil, and toolbar is visible at all times. Use this when you want maximum information density. ### Setup is universal In **all three modes**, sidebar items unlock progressively as you complete each setup milestone — Voice → Customers → Audiences → Plan → first active campaign → first approved content → first lead. Mode does not change setup gating; it only controls how dense things look once you're past setup. **Unlock order:** 1. **Voice profile** → unlocks Customers 2. **Approved customer types** → unlocks Audiences 3. **Approved audiences** → unlocks Marketing Plan 4. **Marketing plan created** → unlocks Campaigns 5. **First active campaign** → unlocks Posts, Creative Studio, Blogs, Ads, Landing Pages, Email Drips 6. **First approved content piece** → unlocks Performance + Insights 7. **First lead captured** → unlocks Leads ### Where did my menu items go? If you're in **Simple** mode, some sidebar items are tucked under a **"More ▾"** toggle inside each section. For example: • **Intelligence** → Insights and Performance are visible; Usage, Learning, and Activity Log live under "More". • **Create** → Creative Studio and Spotlight are visible; Blogs, Ads, and Landing Pages live under "More". • **Deliver** → Posts and Leads are visible; Email Drips lives under "More". • **Configuration** → Info, Branding & Media, Preferences are visible; Assets, Publishing, Workflows live under "More". Click "More" to expand a section. Your expand/collapse choices are remembered **per brand** across sessions. If you're actively viewing a page that lives under "More", that section auto-expands once so you can see where you are. If you want everything visible at all times, switch to **Streamlined** or **Detailed**. > 💡 **Tip:** **Critical items are never hidden.** Pending content approvals, required actions, and urgent notifications always appear in every mode. If 10 posts need your approval, you'll see them whether you're in Simple, Streamlined, or Detailed. ### Per-brand setting UI Mode is set **per brand**, not per user. Run one brand in Simple while a more mature brand stays in Detailed. Change it any time under **Brand Preferences → Preferences → UI Mode**. Switching modes is instant and never destroys data. ### When to switch modes > 💡 **Tip:** • **Stay in Simple** if you mostly want Brand Rise to do the work and only check in for approvals. • **Move to Streamlined** when you start tweaking campaigns, audiences, or content settings regularly. • **Move to Detailed** when you're actively tuning AI guidance, A/B-testing tones, or running campaigns across many channels — and you want every signal one click away. --- ## Dark Mode & Theme Preferences **URL:** https://brandriseapp.com/faq/dark-mode **Category:** Settings **Tags:** dark mode, theme, light mode, appearance, settings, display Switch between light, dark, and system-matched themes for a more comfortable viewing experience. ### How to Switch Themes Click the **theme toggle** (sun/moon icon) in the sidebar or header to cycle between Light, Dark, and System modes. System mode automatically matches your operating system's preference. ### What Changes Dark mode adjusts all backgrounds, text, cards, charts, and UI elements to a dark palette. All functionality remains the same — only the visual appearance changes. > 💡 **Tip:** Your theme preference is saved locally and persists across sessions. It does not affect how your published content appears to your audience. --- ## Visual Profile — Lock In Your Image & Video Models **URL:** https://brandriseapp.com/faq/visual-profile **Category:** Settings **Tags:** visual profile, image model, video model, preferences, indemnified, firefly Pin specific image and video models per brand so every generation matches your preferred look and quality tier. ### What It Does A brand's **Visual Profile** lets you lock in the exact image and video models Brand Rise should use for that brand. When set, your preference **overrides the platform default** for every applicable generation — ads, social posts, text-in-image creatives, and video. ### Where to Find It Open your brand and go to **Preferences → Visual profile**. The tab only appears when the platform admin has enabled visual profiles. ### The Four Settings **Text-in-image model** — used when an ad or banner needs legible copy rendered into the image. **Ad creative model** — used for paid ad creatives across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and X. **Social post model** — used for organic social images. **Video tier** — pick **Bulk** (most economical), **Standard HD**, or **Premium HD** (cinematic, with audio). Auto picks the right tier per task. ### Indemnified Models Only > 💡 **Tip:** Toggle **Indemnified models only** to restrict generation to providers that offer commercial indemnification (e.g. Adobe Firefly). Use this when you need legal cover for AI-generated assets. ### Stale Preferences > ⚠️ **Warning:** If a model you previously selected is no longer offered by the platform, the panel shows a warning and a **Clear** button. Clearing the field falls back to the platform default automatically. > 💡 **Tip:** Leaving a setting on **Auto (recommended)** lets Brand Rise pick the best model for each task. Only override when you have a specific look or compliance requirement. --- # Admin ## How Health Checks Work **URL:** https://brandriseapp.com/faq/how-health-checks-work **Category:** Admin **Tags:** health, api, monitoring, admin, providers, status Understand how BrandRise monitors third-party API providers. ### What are health checks? Health checks verify that every external API provider BrandRise relies on (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google Veo, fal.ai, Exa, Firecrawl, Apollo, Lovable, and Resend) is reachable and responding correctly. Each check sends a minimal request to the provider and records the result. ### How often do they run? Checks run at most once per day per provider to avoid consuming your API quota. You can also trigger them manually at any time from this page. If you enable the scheduled cron (Admin Settings → Health), the system will automatically run checks on your chosen interval (1, 2, 3, or 7 days) at 02:00 UTC. ### What do the statuses mean? ### The "Env" column Shows whether the required API key / secret for that provider is configured in your Supabase Edge Function secrets. "Set" means the key exists; "Not set" means it is missing and the provider cannot be used until you add it. ### Email alerts (cron mode) > 💡 **Tip:** When scheduled health checks are enabled, the system emails all admin users a summary if any provider is failing or rate-limited. This lets you catch quota issues or outages before they impact content generation. --- # Why Brand Rise ## Why Brand Rise? (Purposeful AI, not autopilot) **URL:** https://brandriseapp.com/faq/why-brand-rise-purposeful-ai **Category:** Why Brand Rise **Tags:** manifesto, philosophy, purposeful ai, why, positioning, control, levers, craft The philosophy behind Brand Rise — why we build levers instead of a "set it and forget it" black box. ### Marketing isn't a button Every other tool promises that AI will *do everything* — write your posts, run your ads, grow your audience while you sleep. We don't. Marketing your business is a real craft. It needs your voice, your judgment, and decisions only you can make. Brand Rise is built to *amplify* that work, not pretend it doesn't exist. ### Levers, not a black box Most "AI marketing" products give you a single Generate button and hope for the best. Brand Rise gives you levers: a Fluffometer to control how creative the writing gets, channel-isolated learning so LinkedIn lessons don't leak into TikTok, brand resources you upload, voice profiles you tune, content-mix targets you set, review modes you pick. You stay the editor. The AI does the heavy lifting. ### Depth, not a ChatGPT wrapper Anyone can wrap ChatGPT in a UI. Brand Rise reads your website, learns your offerings, remembers your audiences, ingests your brand assets, tracks what actually performed, and feeds all of that context back into every post, ad, and email. That's why the output sounds like *you* instead of generic AI slop. ### Earned automation Auto-publish exists, but it's opt-in and earned. Most teams start in Review-All mode, approve the first batch of posts, and let the system learn. Once it sounds like you, you can hand over more — at the level of trust *you* decide is right. Not a default we ship to everyone. ### What this means for you • You'll be involved — but at the level of strategy and judgment, not blank pages and copy-paste • You'll have controls for every important decision, not a single magic button • You'll get a system that gets better the more you use it, channel by channel • You'll never be told "the AI handled it" when something important goes wrong > 💡 **Tip:** If you want a content faucet that runs on autopilot, there are cheaper tools for that. If you want a thoughtful marketing system you can actually steer, that's Brand Rise. --- ## What is Brand Rise? **URL:** https://brandriseapp.com/faq/what-is-brand-rise **Category:** Why Brand Rise **Tags:** overview, what is, about, intro, sales A plain-English overview of what Brand Rise does and who it's for. ### The short version Brand Rise is an AI-powered marketing platform that runs the day-to-day marketing work most small businesses don't have time for: planning campaigns, writing posts, designing visuals, scheduling, publishing, and measuring what works — across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, email, and ads. ### Who it's for Local businesses, solo founders, agencies, SaaS teams, e-commerce shops, real estate agents, coaches, nonprofits — anyone who wants consistent marketing without managing it full-time. If you've ever said *"I know I should be posting more,"* this is built for you. ### What you bring • Your website (we read it to learn your business) • Your voice and goals (a quick onboarding) • Approval on what goes out (or let it auto-publish once you trust it) ### What we handle • A full marketing plan with campaigns and audiences • Posts, captions, images, and videos generated in your voice • Scheduling at the times your audience is most active • Email drip campaigns to nurture leads • Performance tracking and AI suggestions to improve over time --- ## Why should I sign up? **URL:** https://brandriseapp.com/faq/why-sign-up **Category:** Why Brand Rise **Tags:** signup, why, benefits, value, sales, pricing The honest pitch — what you get, what it replaces, and why it's different from generic AI tools. ### You get marketing that actually ships Most small businesses know what they *should* do but never do it consistently. Brand Rise removes the blank page — content is drafted, scheduled, and ready for you to approve in minutes instead of hours. ### It learns your brand Unlike generic ChatGPT prompts, Brand Rise reads your website, learns your voice, remembers your audiences, and gets better with every post you approve or edit. The first 10 posts train it; after that it sounds like you. ### It replaces a stack of tools Instead of paying for a scheduler + a copywriter + a designer + an email platform + an analytics tool, you get one system that handles all of it. ### Try it before you commit There's a free trial. You can connect a brand, generate a marketing plan, and see real posts in your voice before you ever pay. If it's not for you, no harm done. > 💡 **Tip:** Founding Member pricing is available while spots remain — lock in a permanent lower rate if you sign up early. --- ## How is this different from just using ChatGPT? **URL:** https://brandriseapp.com/faq/how-is-this-different-from-chatgpt **Category:** Why Brand Rise **Tags:** chatgpt, comparison, ai, difference, vs What you get with Brand Rise that you don't get from a generic AI chatbot. ### ChatGPT is a tool. Brand Rise is a system. ChatGPT can draft a single post if you write a good prompt. But you still have to: come up with the strategy, remember your audience, paste the post into LinkedIn, schedule it, generate an image, write a follow-up email, track what worked, and do it all again tomorrow. ### What Brand Rise adds • A marketing plan tailored to your business and goals • Brand voice memory — no re-explaining who you are every time • Audience targeting baked into every post • Scheduling and direct publishing to your accounts • Image and video generation aligned to your brand • Email drip campaigns wired to lead capture • Performance feedback that improves the next round of content ### Bottom line If you want to write one post, use ChatGPT. If you want to run consistent marketing for a real business, you need a system — that's what Brand Rise is. --- ## Do I need marketing experience to use Brand Rise? **URL:** https://brandriseapp.com/faq/do-i-need-marketing-experience **Category:** Why Brand Rise **Tags:** beginner, no experience, easy, onboarding, simple No — onboarding is designed for non-marketers. Here's how it works. ### Built for non-marketers You don't need to know what a "buyer persona" or "drip cadence" is. The setup wizard asks plain-English questions: What does your business do? Who do you want to reach?
